Texarkana Standoff Ends With Suspect’s Suicide

After shots were heard coming from inside a house in Texarkana where officers went for a welfare check, a stand-off with SWAT officer ensued. After about 4 hours of attempting to make contact by phone with the man inside, SWAT officers made entry. That’s when they found the man dead of an apparently self inflicted gun-shot wound.
