Chamber of Commerce Week
Texarkana, USA (October 15, 2018): The Texarkana USA Chamber of Commerce is celebrating Chamber of Commerce Week this week, October 15-19, 2018.
We kicked off the celebration this past Friday, October 12, at our monthly B2B Breakfast at Silver Star Smokehouse where Mayor Bob Bruggeman (Mayor Ruth Penney Bell was unable to attend) presented us with a Joint Proclamation from both sides of the State Line proclaiming October 15-19, 2018 as Chamber of Commerce Week throughout Texarkana, USA.
We also received a Proclamation from Greg Abbott, Governor of Texas, recognizing October 15-19 as Chamber of Commerce Week in Texarkana, USA. We were known for promoting local communities and projects by fostering job creation, improving education and developing infrastructure. The Texarkana Chamber of Commerce has contributed to this region for the past 114 years and strived to continue to promote and support our community and region every day.
We invite our community and Chamber Members to join us in this celebration by attending the many events we have scheduled this week.

Tuesday, October 16- Meet & Greet with the new leadership of Opportunities, Inc. at the Chamber of Commerce from 4:00-5:00 pm- 819 N State Line Ave, Texarkana, TX.
Tuesday, October 16- Greater Texarkana Young Professionals Talk to the Top Event from 5:30-6:30 pm at Texas A&M University-Texarkana- 7101 University Ave, Texarkana, TX ( UC Building 4th Floor).
Wednesday, October 17- Ribbon Cutting for Empowering and Transformational Health & Life Coaching, LLC at 4:00 pm in the Chamber of Commerce’s Board Room- 819 N State Line Ave, Texarkana, TX.
Thursday, October 18- Business After Hours at Coldwell Banker Elite from 4:30-6:30 pm- 4321 McKnight Rd, Texarkana, TX.
