Texas Abortion Law In Hands Of U.S. Supreme Court

The ramifications of the new Texas abortion bill are now under advisement by the U.S. Supreme Court. Justices heard nearly three hours of arguments that deal more with allowing the public to police abortion. Attorney Marc Hearron accused Texas lawmakers of making abortions illegal by creating a costly provision that allows private citizens to sue. That provision was behind questions by several justices who peppered Texas Solicitor General Judd Stone.
