Texas Adds 309 More To Coronavirus Death Toll

On Wednesday, state health officials reported 309 additional deaths attributed to the coronavirus, bringing the pandemic’s death toll in Texas to 10,559.

Officials also announced 6,474 new known COVID-19 cases, bringing the current statewide tally to 557,256 cases. Only two other states — California and Florida — have reported more cases.
