Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton has announced he’s suing at least six school districts that defied Gov. Greg Abbott’s order prohibiting mask mandates at public schools. Paxton said the Sherman, Elgin, Galveston, Richardson, Round Rock, and Spring school systems do not follow the law. Paxton added that he anticipates filing additional lawsuits if school districts and other governmental entities continue to defy state law.
