Texas AG’s Office Busy With Gouging Calls

The Texas Attorney General’s office says it has received at least 450 price-gouging complaints in the wake of Hurricane Harvey, including four from East Texas. There were two each in Smith and Gregg counties and all concerned gasoline prices. Three of those were service stations, and one was a grocery store’s gas station. The AG’s office says at least 250 emails contain more reports, but they have not been processed.
