Texas A&M-Commerce President Says NO To Name Change

Texas A&M-Commerce President Dr. Mark Rudin posted a message on the University Alumni Association Facebook page about efforts to change the name of the University. Dr. Rudin posted that he had received feedback from students, faculty, alumni, supporters and others and has reached the decision that he will NOT support the changing of the name to Texas A&M-Dallas. He informed the Board of Regents and Chancellor John Sharp that he will not be pursuing a name change to Texas A&M University-Dallas now or in the future.
