Texas education leaders are already looking at some harsh decisions concerning the Coronavirus. They expect COVID to still be around through the summer, and the big question for Texas colleges and universities will be whether to allow students back on campus without the covid vaccine this fall. There are already requirements for other vaccinations. But a COVID vaccination requirement for Texas schools is unlikely. Governor Abbott’s executive order reads that Texas will never mandate the vaccine.
