Texas Primary Runoff Election Results

In the Republican Primary Run-off Election Tuesday, Kevin Anderson defeated Tracy Crawford 518 – 155. He will become the next Lamar County Commissioner for Precinct 4 because he has no Democratic opponent in the November General Election.

In the Hopkins County Republican Primary Run-off election, Danny Davis defeated Andrea Griggs 926-856 in the race for the county treasurer nomination. Greg Anglin defeated Edward Moore 308 – 291 in the contest for the GOP nomination for commissioner of Precinct 2. Davis and Anglin have no opponent in the November General Election.

After a tight race throughout much of the evening Tuesday, Lupe Valdez pulled ahead late to comfortably defeat Andrew White in the Democratic runoff for governor, according to unofficial returns.
