Texas Rangers Investigating Anderson County Inmate Death

Texas Rangers are investigating after a Frankston man died from a medical emergency at the Anderson County Jail. Officials had arrested 47-year-old Rodney Lynn McKenzie on traffic warrants, and medical personnel had screened him before being placed in a holding cell at the Anderson County Jail. Other inmates later reported he was in medical distress, and they transported him to the Palestine Hospital, where he died in the emergency room.
