Texas Senators Both On SCOTUS Nomination Hearings Committee

Texas Senators John Cornyn and Ted Cruz are both on the Senate Judiciary Committee, hearing testimony from Supreme Court Nominee Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson. Senator Cornyn says he’s worried about some of the cases she handled while a defense attorney. Senator Cruz says he will question Brown Jackson about her commitment to religious liberty and free speech. Cruz and Brown Jackson know each other from their time at Harvard Law School.
