The Carrie Vs Kelly Fake Feud In Today’s Nashville Insider

Kelly Clarkson tells Entertainment Tonight that she and Carrie Underwood are not feuding. “Everybody always tries to pit me and Carrie against each other. So, when I saw her I was like, ‘You know what? Let’s just end this right now and get a picture together because we are never in the same place.’ And, like, it never happens. And people always try to put it together like we’re enemies. And I’m like, ‘We don’t even know each other well enough to be enemies.’ So, anyway, I went to get a picture and then everybody lost their mind.”

One Country claims Tim McGraw and Faith Hill were recently performing in London, Ontario, Canada when they brought their 19-year-old daughter, Maggie, on stage to sing the blues ballad ”I Put a Spell on You”

Miranda Lambert tells Palm Beach Illustrated that she had several musical heroes growing up. ”My Dad. He’s a singer-songwriter and at the very beginning of my career he taught me how to write my own songs and showed me how important it was to have my own voice. Artists like Merle Haggard and Loretta Lynn were also big influences and that has never changed. Their music really spoke to me and no doubt influenced my songwriting direction. I’ve always admired that they told their true stories.”

Jake Owen tells People Magazine that he recently flew to Florida just to have donuts with his daughter. “I recently flew down to Florida to go have some donuts with her. I went down and hung out with her and she was pretty excited to show me her teachers and all the stuff she’s learning. She’s learning Spanish and reading right now. It was a super big deal to me, but it’s so fulfilling to see her be so excited to show people her daddy. To her, I’m not the singer Jake Owen, I’m just dad.”

Maren Morris tells Rolling Stone that she becomes a ‘feisty geek’ when she is recording a new album. “I love sparring back and forth with people and just geeking out over mixes. I love giving musicians leeway. There’s gotta be this mutual respect there because they respect me because these are my songs and I respect them to give them the creative freedom to do what they do.”

The Tennessean Newspaper recently asked Dan + Shay to name their most influential songs. They said …
