The Arizona’s Cochise County Sheriff’s Office announced that they arrested Ronald Lee Syvrud, 66, of Benson. They considered him to be an “investigative lead for threats to kill a presidential candidate.” While an earlier statement posted by CCSO on its Facebook page did not identify the presidential candidate allegedly targeted, the Associated Press and Fox News identified the candidate as former President Donald Trump.
