Texas Department of State Health Services Commissioner Dr. John Hellerstedt is now urging facilities that have gotten the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines to give them to Texans in group B now. That includes people 65 or older and Texans with underlying health conditions, including cancer, diabetes, and more. DSHS stresses urgency as much of the state’s vaccine allotment has yet to be administered.
