The Daily Mirror claims songwriter Steve Ronsen is accusing Lady Gaga of stealing her song ”Shallow” from him. He says parts of her song sound like his 2012 track “Almost”.
Gaga’s attorney is quoted by the newspaper as saying, “Mr. Ronsen and his lawyer are trying to make easy money off the back of a successful artist. It is shameful and wrong. I applaud Lady Gaga for having the courage and integrity to stand up on behalf of successful artists who find themselves on the receiving end of such [claims]. Should Mr. Shirian proceed with this case, Lady Gaga will fight it vigorously and will prevail.”
The Huffington Post claims Lego plans to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the TV show ”Friends” by releasing a ”Friends” Lego set. All of the characters are being turned into figurines. Once built, the 1070-piece set will recreate the show’s Central Perk coffee shop. The Friends Lego set will be released on September 1st and will cost $60

TMZ says Billy Bob Thornton’s Bad Santa co-star, Tony Cox, accidentally hit a child on a bike yesterday. Cox, who played the elf in the Bad Santa movies, was not arrested or cited because he was not at fault. Cox was driving a Mercedes Benz when the kid blazed through a crosswalk and collided with his car. The boy suffered a foot injury and was taken to the hospital.
