Adopt a pet today- give a dog or cat a forever home! Head over to the Paris Animal Shelter or look for the Lamar County Humane Association in front of Petco on Saturdays. And if you have a pet, have them spayed or neutered.

Feed The Flame Fundraiser – the benefit Lamar County Contenders Special Olympics Team is coming up Friday, January 26.  at the Paris’ Elks Lodge. It’s Dinner, Entertainment plus a Live and Silent Auction. There will be a Community Garage Sale and Bake Sale Saturday, January 27, from 8:00 am until 1:00 pm to benefit Zack Lester the North Lamar student injured in a car accident. If you would like to donate items for the garage sale, you may drop them at 260 N. Main most days between 5:00 and 6:00 pm. Bake sales items can be dropped off Friday, Jan. 26, or Saturday morning.
