Thirty Years For Rape

A Miller County jury sentenced Jared Allen Harper, 36, of Texarkana, AR, to 30 years in prison for rape, ten for sexual assault, and six for indecency at the end of his second trial for child sexual abuse. The jury in his trial last year ended with a mistrial. The second jury Wednesday found Harper guilty of rape, second-degree sexual assault and sexual indecency with a child. The victim is now 14 and daughter of his second wife.
