Thousands Of Online Voter Registration Applications Are Invalid According To Officials

State officials say more than 2,000 voter-registration applications submitted through an online service are invalid. Texas doesn’t allow online registration, but a California-based nonprofit that operates Vote.org appears to have found a loophole by allowing voters to complete an online application and then attach a photo of their signature.
