Paris Police went to the 3500 block of North Main to investigate a theft complaint and were told that someone had cut the fence and token multiple bundles of shingles. A van loaded with bundles of shingles was located just outside the business fence stuck in the mud. The van was found to have been stolen from the 400 block of NE 35th. Medical supplies located at the scene of the theft were later connected to two vans that had been stolen from a home health care business on Loop 286. Another van was stolen from a business in the 4800 block of Lamar Ave and was also linked to the theft of shingles. The vans were subsequently located in Grand Prairie and 21 year old Yoan Zacaris,18 year old Melquisedec Morales, 28 year old Fernando Gomez,and 18 year old Aurelio Espinoza as well as a juvenile were charged with engaging in organized criminal activity.
