Throwing Clay Awes North Lamar Students

Ken Lasater, Music Minister of First Baptist Church in Bowie, Texas, shows art students from Bailey Intermediate and North Lamar High School how to create pieces of art on a potter’s wheel.  While in school, Lasater worked as a potter at Marshall Pottery in Marshall, Texas, to help pay for college.  He now demonstrates and speaks to groups of all ages often designing while he teaches.
