Following a win over Lamar on Saturday, the Texas A&M University-Commerce men’s basketball team is back on the road at New Orleans on Thursday evening.

The Texas A&M University-Commerce women’s basketball team is one of 32 in the country that is undefeated in conference play and looks to move to 6-0 against Southland Conference opponents on Thursday night when it faces New Orleans on the road at 5:00 pm.

HIGH SCHOOL

On Wednesday, Big Sandy High School’s football coach Larry Minter announced his retirement on his Facebook page. Minter served as head football coach and athletic director and is stepping down from both positions. He said he looks forward to new opportunities with the Big Sandy ISD.
