Tidwell Named 6th District Judge

Wes Tidwell has been appointed by Governor Greg Abbott to be judge of the 6th Judicial District Court in Lamar and Red River Counties. Tidwell is managing partner in the law firm of  Ellis & Tidwell, LLP.  Tidwell  won the republican primary to replace Eric Clifford who resigned.  Paris attorney Jeff Starnes will Democrat Paris Attorney Gary Waite in the November General Election for that position.
