Tiede Due Back In Court

A case of a former East Texas funeral director and choir director accused of shooting a widow and hiding her body in a freezer for nine months heads back to a courtroom April 6 for a new sentencing trial. Bernie Tiede was convicted in Panola County of murdering Marjorie Nugent of Carthage two decades ago. The case was featured in the 2011 comedy, “Bernie”.
