Hopkins County COVID

Five Hopkins County residents are now confirmed to have died in September from the Coronavirus. The Texas DSHS Coronavirus Dash Board shows a drop to 176 active cases of COVID-19 in Hopkins County. It’s uncertain if the fall is because of more vaccinations, fewer people are getting tested, or fewer cases because of spread. There have been 141 fatalities from the virus since the pandemic began.
