TItus County Deputies Arrest Three In Mt Pleasant

 

 

 

Titus County Sheriff’s Office traveled to the 500-block of Red Springs in Mount Pleasant to serve an outstanding arrest warrant on Jordan Clark. When deputies arrived, they knocked on the door, and a person from inside the residence greeted deputies at the front door. Deputies smelled a strong and distinct odor of marihuana emitting from inside the home. Deputies advised they were there for Jordan Clark and they confirmed that she was inside. Deputies then observed Jordan Clark around the back corner of the residence and were able to apprehend her for the outstanding warrants. Deputies then began their investigation into their observation of the marihuana and after being denied consent to search the residence an affidavit requesting a Search Warrant was written and presented to Justice of the Peace Kay McNutt, who after reviewing the testimony agreed probable cause existed and issued a Search Warrant. Deputies searched the residence, and located marihuana and suspected methamphetamine. The alleged methamphetamine was field tested and showed a positive result.

Deputies arrested Jordan Clark, age 20, from Mount Pleasant for
1) Possession of a Dangerous Drug (Warrant)
2) Failure to Appear (Warrant)
3) Theft (Warrant)
4) Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (Warrant)
5) Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty
Group 1 < 1 gram

Deputies arrested Steve Gilliland, age 62, from Mount Pleasant for
1) Possession of Marijuana < 2 OZ

Deputies arrested Andres Ramirez, age 22, from Mount Vernon for
1) Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty
Group 1 < 1 gram
