On 06/04/2021, authorities arrested Sheila K. Landers for Theft Of Property Enhanced. At the time of the offense, she was employed as a jailer (Public Servant) by the Titus County Sheriff’s Office.
On 06/02/2021, Sheriff Tim Ingram ordered an investigation into the possible theft when they released an inmate on an earlier date reported that he failed to receive all his property upon his release. Cpt. David Price reviewed the video footage and found that Sheila Landers had taken the item reported missing. Upon confronting Landers, she admitted having the article at her residence, and they ordered her to bring it back to the Sheriff’s Office.
Sheriff Tim Ingram’s policy is clear. We will not allow criminal activity by anyone, including our employees. This arrest shows a testament to a fair, firm, and consistent stance against anyone who breaks the law.
