Train Hits Empty Grain Cars

Troopers worked a crash involving a Norfolk Southern train. The train, pulling empty grain cars, was traveling north from Hearn when it collided with a towed trailer that was on the tracks after being high centered. The driver of the 2000 Kenworth truck tractor that was pulling the semi-trailer advised that as he was traveling east on CR-1115, he became high centered going over the tracks and disconnected the truck from the trailer just before the collision. There have been no injuries reported, and emergency responders are working to clear the scene. The crash remains under investigation and motorist are being rerouted.
