Training Sessions For Hopkins County Election Workers

Mandatory 4 hour training sessions will be held tomorrow and Wednesday for Hopkins County election workers. Workers can attend either the Tuesday or Wednesday training session. Topics will include the new Voter ID laws, voter qualifications and operating the electronic voting machines and required paperwork at the end of the day’s voting. Instruction will also be given on processing write in votes and other topics. The training will be held  each day from 8-noon, 1 -5pm and 6 – 10 pm at the New Training Facility of the Sheriff’s office on Rosemont Street in Sulphur Springs.
