Trauma Service Area F COVID Restrictions In Effect

The state notified the eight counties that make up Trauma Service Area F that restaurants and other businesses will move to 50% capacity, all bars are closed, and non-emergency surgical procedures are on hold. The reason is because of the hospitalization rate being above 15% for seven consecutive days. The counties affected include Hopkins, Lamar, Titus, Cass, Delta, Morris, Red River, and Bowie Counties. Three of the counties, Delta, Red River, and Morris, filed or are in the process of filing for exemptions because of the low rate of COVID-19. The restriction is in place until the region has seven consecutive days below 15%. Cities and county law enforcement officers are authorized to monitor capacity restrictions, and state agencies, including TABC, will monitor establishments that serve alcohol.
