As the second round of winter precipitation continues to roll in, many roads around the area are worse this morning due to Monday’s traffic and some sun compacting snow making it too slick to drive. TxDOT reminds drivers to stay home as crews continue to clear roads of snow and ice. Winter conditions impact all roadways in the nine-county Atlanta District, including Bowie, Camp, Cass, Harrison, Marion, Morris, Panola, Titus, and Upshur counties. Crews are working around the clock in Paris and Atlanta’s districts, focusing on clearing higher volume corridors, such as I-20, I-30, US 82, and US 59.
