Mount Pleasant, TX – CASA of Titus, Camp and Morris Counties announces its Tri-County Independence Day Blast to be held on Monday (Jul 4) at Broach Park in Pittsburg, with proceeds benefitting CASA in assisting children in the foster care system within the tri-county area.
CASA has planned a celebration packed with activities for all ages.
Evening events include FREE fun activities and booths for families and children, music and concessions, parachute jump (chance to win $1,000) and choreographed fireworks at dusk. This event will be an evening of fun and celebration for all ages.”

“We are excited to offer many new activities to the annual 4th of July fireworks display so families in our communities can enjoy a day of fun to celebrate Independence Day. We invite you to bring your entire family and friends to this celebration,” states Michelle Cobern, Executive Director of Titus, Camp and Morris Counties.

Sponsorships are still available with sponsor levels ranging from Stars & Stripes at $100 to Star Spangled at $2,500. CASA is accepting sponsorships from area businesses and individuals who want to join our cause by sponsoring the event. CASA of Titus, Camp and Morris Counties is a nonprofit 501(c) 3; donations are tax deductible.

All proceeds will fund the mission to support CASA of Titus, Camp and Morris Counties, to directly impact abused and neglected children served in the tri-county area. “The mission of CASA is to train and supervise community volunteers to be a leading voice in advocating for safe, permanent, nurturing homes for children in foster care,” states Michelle Cobern, Executive Director, CASA of Titus, Camp, and Morris Counties. “The purpose is to provide highly-trained volunteer advocates to give children a voice, so they don’t get lost in the foster care system.”
