Trial Rescheduled For Man Accused Of Killing Police Dog

A judge has granted a motion for a continuance in the trial of the man accused of killing an East Texas K-9 officer. The bench trial for 36 year old Michael Paul Koch was scheduled to begin Monday. Koch is accused of fatally shooting  Smith County Constable Precinct 5 K-9 Ogar while fleeing from the scene of a traffic stop.
