Northeast Texas Community College Baseball hosted Paris Junior College for the first home conference game of the 2023 season and each team came away with a win in the series. NTCC won game one 7-2 before falling to Paris in game two 8-3.

HIGH SCHOOL

Basketball

Winnsboro ISD announced the school district is closed Mar 2-3 to allow students and staff to travel to San Antonio. The Winnsboro Lady Red Raiders will be in state competition at the Alamodome at that time. The first game is Thursday at 1:30 pm against Fairfield. If they win, the next and final game will be Saturday morning at 10:00 am.
