Saint Lucia, at the Junior CARIFTA Championship next month, has selected Texas A&M University-Commerce high jumper Jenneil Jacobie to represent them. The Girls Under 20 High Jump event is Apr 10 at Thomas Robinson Stadium in Nassau. This year’s CARIFTA games are the 50th edition of the competition, founded by the Caribbean Free Trade Association (CARIFTA).

Northeast Texas Community College Baseball was busy during spring break, with six games over eight days. NTCC opened spring break up with a Saturday conference two-game set with Bossier Parrish Community College, losing 7-1 and 8-0. However, they bounced back on Monday, Mar 13, when they traveled to Centenary College and picked up a 12-4 road non-conference win. The Eagles followed up the Centenary victory with another non-conference game on Wednesday, Mar 15. Coach Andy Morgan witnessed his 100th win as Eagle Head Coach in a dramatic comeback and walk-off win over Richland College, 10-9.
