Houston came down with ADOLIS-19 in Minute Maid Park Monday night. Garcia neared home plate and cupped his right hand around his ear, taunting an opposing crowd growing increasingly troubled with every swing of his bat. It was the eighth inning of a blowout, the aftermath of Garcia’s third home run in a stretch of six at-bats to conclude this American League Championship Series. The Rangers at bats past the Astros early in the 11-4 victory, moving on to the World Series. And Garcia, who triggered a benches-clearing incident during a hit pitch in Game 5, provided the devastating blow with a grand slam in Game 6. That guaranteed him the MVP honors after a stirring ALCS performance. Now, the Rangers are back in the Fall Classic once more. Four wins away from capturing the first title in the history of a franchise that stretches more than 60 years.
