East Texas A&M University softball pitcher Julia Sanchez received Southland Conference Pitcher of the Week honors on Monday afternoon following a 2-0 week in the circle. The Lions face the four-time defending national champions, Oklahoma, on Wednesday at 6:30 pm and then resume SLC play at Lamar on Friday and Saturday.

G1 – Peyton Holland (Paris, TX native) delivered an impressive performance, hitting two home runs and driving in four runs as NTCC Eagle Softball secured a 9-1 victory over Kilgore College Rangers on Saturday. Holland homered in both the third and fourth innings.

G2 – Eagle Softball secured a 7-5 victory over Kilgore College Rangers on Saturday, breaking a late-game tie in the seventh inning. With the score knotted at five, Emma Peeples delivered a clutch single to drive in two runs, ultimately sealing the win for the Eagles.

La lanzadora de softbol de la Universidad East Texas A&M, Julia Sánchez,  recibió los honores de Lanzadora de la Semana de la Conferencia Southland el lunes por la tarde después de una semana de 2-0 en el círculo. Los Lions se enfrentan a los cuatro veces campeones nacionales defensores, Oklahoma, el miércoles a las 6:30 pm y luego reanudan el juego de SLC en Lamar el viernes y sábado.

G1 – Peyton Holland (nativo de Paris, TX) tuvo una actuación impresionante, conectando dos jonrones e impulsando cuatro carreras cuando NTCC Eagle Softball aseguró una victoria de 9-1 sobre Kilgore College Rangers el sábado. Holland conectó un jonrón tanto en la tercera como en la cuarta entrada.

G2 – Eagle Softball aseguró una victoria 7-5 sobre Kilgore College Rangers el sábado, rompiendo un empate al final del juego en la séptima entrada. Con el marcador empatado a cinco, Emma Peeples conectó un sencillo decisivo para impulsar dos carreras, sellando finalmente la victoria de las Águilas.
