Two Dentists Shot At Smith County Clinic

Officials arrested a man Wednesday afternoon after he allegedly shot two doctors at a dentist’s office in Smith County. Investigators say 40-year-old Steven Alexander Smith of Tyler became angry at the clinic staff, went to his vehicle to retrieve a weapon, and shot the two doctors. He then fled the scene but was arrested at his home without incident. One of the victims was in very critical condition. They took the other into emergency surgery in undisclosed condition.
