State Troopers responded to a report of a small plane crash near the airport in Rusk County. Preliminary reports indicate the airplane lost power just after take-off from the airport and crashed into the tree line. They transported the pilot and his passenger to UT Health–Tyler, with minor injuries. More information will be released as it becomes available.
