Two Texans Involved In Scams

The Eastern District of Texas U.S. Attorney Stephen J. Cox announced a grand jury indicted the fifth person for conspiring to commit illegal remunerations in violation of the Anti-Kickback Statute. They charged three from Florida and Daniel Stadtman, 66, of Allen, and Lydia Henslee, 29, of McKinney, each with one count of conspiracy to allegedly conspired to pay and receive a kickback in exchange for physician’s’ orders to submit claims for payment to federal health care programs. They then sold the physicians’ orders to each other and other durable medical equipment providers. Within approximately eight months, the defendants collectively obtained more than $2.9 million in proceeds from the criminal scheme.
