Near Waskom
The National Weather Service confirmed two tornadoes in Harrison County Thursday morning. These occurred as a squall line pushed through our area. An EF-0 tornado developed near FM 31 at 12:40 am, about nine miles south of Scottsville. It was on the ground for about a half-mile. The second one developed east of that location and was an EF-1 with 95 mph winds. Tree damage was the main problem with both.
