TxDOT Hosting Open House Public Meeting on FM 1735 Improvements
The Open House is Tuesday (Dec 4) from 5:00 until 7:00 pm at Chapel Hill High School Cafeteria, 1069 County Road 4660, Mt Pleasant.
The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) will discuss proposed improvements to Farm to Market Road 1735 from State Highway 49 to 2.1 miles south of SH 49 in Titus County. The meeting will be at the Chapel Hill High School Cafeteria located at 1609 County Road 4660 off of FM 1735.
The proposed improvements include:
Reconstructing FM 1735 to add two travel lanes, a center left-turn lane, two ten foot shoulders, and upgrading the intersection at SH 49.
The proposed project will improve safety and enhance mobility. Additional right of way will be required to construct the project and employees from the right of way section will be available to answer any questions about the process of acquiring the properties.
The meeting is open to the public and attendees can come and go at their convenience to view maps, study exhibits, ask questions and provide comments.
