Texas Department of Transportation officials announced a bridge replacement project in Hunt and Lamar Counties begins Monday, weather permitting. They are replacing and reworking two bridges. The first bridge set for replacement is on Shelby Ave. at the Farber Creek Branch in Hunt County, approximately one mile east of State Highway 66 in Greenville. The second bridge is on CR 28100 at Bledsoe Creek in Lamar County, about one mile east of FM 904. The target completion date of this project at both locations is June 2024, officials said.
