TxDOT Travel Information Center, north of Denison on US 75 at Exit 74
Each year the professional travel counselors at TxDOT’s Travel Information Center north of Denison host a Travel Fair to spotlight National Travel Week. Local and regional travel partners gather at the center and share activities and information with residents and travelers.
This year’s national theme spotlights the ‘Power of Travel’ by recognizing the millions of people who keep this industry healthy.
The tourism industry supports the livelihood of more than 15 million Americans. The reliability, hustle, and attitude of tourism industry professionals fuel the sector’s success and help keep the American travel industry secure.
Professional travel counselors who promote tourism to and within Texas, staff TxDot’s 12 Statewide Travel Information Centers. They provide travelers a vital rest stop, offer vending machines for snacks or beverages, and provide outstanding customer service. They create a positive first impression of Texas for travelers.
