TxDOT Working State Roads For Storm Prep

With Winter Storm Warnings and Winter Weather Advisories in effect for large portions of Texas, TxDOT has treated the roads but says it’s still going to be slick. TxDOT crews were out all yesterday treating bridges, overpasses, and major roadways with brine. However, Kenna Mitchell with TxDOT says just because they treated the roads doesn’t mean it’s a magic fix and says if you have to get out, give yourself extra time, and be careful.
