UIL Executive Committee Meeting for Sulphur Springs Player Postponed

The meeting of the UIL Executive Committee today concerning an allegedly ineligible player for the Sulphur Springs Wildcat Basketball team has been postponed. Superintendent Mike Lamb said he is having back problems and will be unable to make the trip to Austin for the meeting. Sulphur Springs ISD was appealing a ruling made by the District 16-5A Executive Committee about a player that had allegedly moved into the district for Athletic Purposes. Several other districts also eligibility issues they were appealing to be decided in the meetings.
