UIL State Executive Committee Meeting Results

The State Executive Committee of the University Interscholastic League met Tuesday to hand down decisions on student-athletes eligibility and issue penalties for UIL rules violations.

The committee denied student-athletes from Coppell High School, Frisco Independence High School, and Lipan High School an appeal for varsity eligibility, upholding the district executive committees’ previous ruling.

The committee issued Jarrell head volleyball coach Maria Gonzalez a public reprimand and one-year probation.

The committee denied appeals for two student-athletes from Leander High School, three student-athletes from Texarkana Texas High School, and a student-athlete from Hamshire-Fannett High School. It was for varsity eligibility, upholding the previous ruling of the district executive committees.
