Free Lunch & Learn On Elder Law

The United Way of Lamar County and the Alzheimer’s Association have partnered again for a free Lunch & Learn on Friday, February 24, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at CF Paris, 3410 N. Main Street.

Titled “Leaving a Legacy: Assets, Aging, and Legal Concerns,” the free Lunch & Learn features Guest Speaker Lisa B. Shoalmire, Attorney and Senior Partner at Ross & Shoalmire, PLLC, an Elder Law Firm. She will answer the questions on estate planning, legal documents, and recognizing scams and fraud. A panel of experts will also be available to answer questions.

Sandwich Etc. will cater lunch, and the event is free, but you need to pre-register at www.tinyurl.com/ParisLegal. They will enter the first 25 registrants to win a $50 gift card, and you must be present to win

United Way Executive Jenny Wilson explains, “We are excited to partner again with the Alzheimer’s Association to bring this free Lunch & Learn to Lamar County. This event is for everyone, not just those caring for those with dementia, who have legal questions specifically tied to aging.”

Healthcare Express, Paris Regional Medical Center, and NE Texas Homecare sponsor the free Lunch & Learn.
