North Lamar Project Graduation will host a tailgate party on Friday, September 9, at R. L. Maddox Stadium beginning at 5:00 p.m. through the third quarter.  Burgerland will be grilling their famous homemade burgers with all the trimmings, fries, a drink and dessert for $10.00 a meal. Proceeds benefit NL Project Graduation Class of 2017. The North Lamar Panthers will play Greenville beginning at 7:30 p.m.

Big Brothers Big Sisters Bowl for Kids’ Sake September 24th from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM at Paris Lanes Bowling Alley, 2331 North Main Street. Become a hometown hero today!! 6th Annual Mud Volleyball Tournament Saturday September 10th from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM to kick off the United Way of Lamar County’s 2017 Annual Campaign. Paris Rodeo Arena – Red River Valley Fairgrounds 570 E. Hugo Parkinson Support Group Meeting Sat.  Sept. 10 at  2 Pm  Choctaw Memorial Hospital Conference Room 1405 East Kirk Road Hugo. The Program will be Michael Jordon Occupational Therapist. Everyone Is Welcome. Come Visit With Parkinson Patients and Their Caregivers.  There Will Be Plenty of Time for Questions. Refreshments Will Be Served. Auditions for the PCT Musical Mame will be held Sept. 12th and 13th at 6pm at the Brown Centre for the Creative Arts. Extremely large cast with roles for all ages and types, both singing and non-singing. Childcare will be provided during rehearsals and children are welcome to join the cast, making this a great show for the WHOLE FAMILY to be involved in. The rehearsal schedule will be light leading up to the last few weeks of production. Come celebrate PCT with us!
