First United Methodist Church will have their annual Children’s Easter Egg Hunt Sunday, March 25, at 2:00 pm. It will be in the park and playground area of Oak Park United Methodist Church. 2515 Bonham Street. They will have different sections for different age groups to hunt, and everyone in the community is welcome to bring children to join in the fun.
There will be two Easter Eggs Hunts and the Northeast Texas Children’s Museum Saturday, March 24, at 11:00 am and 2:00 pm. There will be Easter crafts all day and photos with the Easter Bunny from 10:00 am until 11:00 am and again 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm.
On Saturday, March 31, Maxey Baptist Church will host an Egg-stravaganza Children’s Easter Egg Hunt for people in the Sumner area and surrounding communities. The fun begins at 11:00 am through 1:00 pm. Thousands of eggs and prizes to be won and free food will be served. For more information check out and like the Maxey BC Facebook page.
Saturday, March 31, at 1:30 pm Celebrate the Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting of Wade Park with us. Come enjoy the new playground equipment as well as see the new paint job on the iconic Rocket Ship. There is also going to be an Easter Egg Hunt, at 2:00 pm.
