UPDATE Honey Grove Officer Remains In Stable Condition

The Honey Grove Police Officer shot during a confrontation with a domestic violence suspect earlier this week is reported to be recovering and remains stable. The suspect took his own life during a ten-hour standoff. Authorities have still not released the names of either the police officer or the suspect. Texas Rangers are investigating.
